ADEBOYE A. FADINA is a retired Assistant Deputy Warden (ADW) from New York City Department
of Correction. Assistant Deputy Warden Fadina believes strongly that reducing violence and keeping staff
safe requires a holistic approach to management. Every service and program that is implemented creates a
safer environment, which helps to reduce the levels of violence and prepares inmates to be more
successful when they return to their communities. In his position ADW Fadina worked at VCBC (Vernon
C. Bain Center), a maximum-security jail on Rikers Island, New York, where he performed his duties
with skills and integrity as the third person in command.
